Education, Instruction and Curriculum, M.Ed. - Elementary Education emphasis
The Master of Education program in instruction and curriculum with an emphasis in elementary 教育 allows current educators to gain graduate-level understanding and content specialization in elementary 教育. 学生 gain graduate-level understanding and content specialization in elementary 教育. This prepares educators to be leaders in elementary schools in kindergarten through 8th grade.

This program helps teachers continue their professional growth and advance in competence in their work in elementary school classrooms. The program may be used to develop an academic specialization of work with elementary school children or to explore a field of specialization for present or future professional goals.
This program does not lead to initial teacher certification. Please see the Graduate Teacher Certification (GTC) program if you are seeking initial teacher certification at the graduate level.

Application Deadline
Deadline for fall semester is July 15; winter, November 15; spring/summer, March 15. Early application is strongly encouraged to secure course enrollment. Those applications received after the deadline will be considered on an individual basis and program 可用性. Late applicants should 联系 program director Ellen 席勒, (电子邮件保护). The $30 nonrefundable application fee is waived if you have previously applied to GVSU.
